Rorschach

Following my conversation with Paddy and Joe I made some Rorschach tests which I intend to use in the video.

I downloaded some photoshop brush tools online which look like ink and did a couple of different shapes to see if I came up with anything distinctive. Try to interpret these as you go along, everyone I have shown them to has seen something different!

First I started experimenting with the colour scheme that I showed the band before.

I then went on the make more basic shapes, this one I tried to control the shape of too much and I don't like it as much for it. It's much more crude than the other images I have made for this part of the song. I also that the images are stronger for using colour as this looks very basic.

This is the strongest of these images in my opinion. I think it is much stronger than any of the images I have created so far. I am considering using this image in particular to market myself, firstly because I think its a strong image but also because I like that it can interpreted in several different ways, just like all art and stories. In some ways, I think that this is a very good representation of my style of work which tends to be a bit moodier and darker. I also like that it represents freelance work in that I will have to work to other people's specifications and interpretations of what they want.
